If it's an error I'm suing.

3 May 2006 --- Transaction(s) being processed (processed by next business day) 201.77

This piece of monitary transaction glory is awaiting to be PAID IN to my account. If it's a bank error I'm suing the bastards. Will check after 8am!

IT'S GONE NOW. One is annoyed.

I'm charging them for it, I shall be sending my letter of demand in today. I think £50 is a suitable fee for my time and effort. Just imagine what they'd charge me if I did that to them!

I've written the letter, any advice to make it look more bank like?

RE: Missing transaction on 3 May, 2006 for £201.77.

To Whom It May Concern:

On the morning of 3 May 3, 2006 you placed a pending transaction of £201.77 in to my account which was removed without trace at 8:45am (see attached screen capture).

This letter is a demand for payment of a £40 charge (payable immediately) for this transaction. This charge covers my effort to find what occurred with this transaction and eventual dissapointment with being in a inch grasp of the above mentioned amount.

Please make payment of this charge to my account as if I were to do the same thing to you lot, no doubt you’d charge me twice as much for it.

Kind regards,

Kevin Costelloe

I've booked a set of wheels for my trip in Canada for a week, not too expensive, but I'd going to get seriously abused for the 7 days I've got it (going to drive in a 200-300 mile area around Toronto, then it's back to using public transport for the last leg within the city).

It's a Toyota Echo, but it looks like a Yaris, it's got AIR CONDITIONING and it's one of those left hand drive automatics that are on the television all the time.

My young driver fee is £6 a day (or $84 for the whole leg) so that's cool (Hertz wanted $25/day) and it's fully comp. SO SKIZZOR MAH NIZZOR.

Btw, if you see a 02-55 reg Totya in Toronto AVOID IT WITH YOUR LIFE as I'll be driving too fast and on the wrong side of the road.
