[Repent Heathen!] Windows you are teh suck.
My server in Dallas, gleefully nicknamed "Dallas", has needed to be
rebooterised. This in itself isn't entry worthy.However, it's just
erected the fucking LASER SHIELD which is a bit of a problem with it
being in Dallas, Texas, UNITED BLEEDING STATES OF AMERICA. Graciously
my Grimnir has never done this to me. It might be because it's a Linux
box, but more than likely it's because I'm not on a Danish National
Police Database of Terrorists (ZOMG PARANOIA).UPDATE: I've just
received an update on my ticket to the lovely people at The Planet who
are assisting even though I'm on one of their Discount Tesco-Value
Server packages. (tsullivan-12/21/2006 13:40:06): I have rebooted the
server manually, but it appears to hang when loading the personal
settings for Windows. I attempted to boot using last known good
configuration, but the same symptoms are present. I will investigate
this issue further and update you as soon as possible. Thanks for your
patience.Amusingly, this might require me to be thankful, to which I
am, for their assistance by letting them live during my eventual
uprising and slaughter of the unbelievers. Or I could send cakes.
